It smells like it sounds. The scent of fruit with a hint of vanilla sweetness.
Scent: It starts with initial notes of wild berry, bergamot, and strawberry, as well as its captivating middle notes of jasmine, rose and violet. Finally, delight your senses with its base notes of powdery raspberry, sugar, and white musk.
Details: My soaps are handmade using a method called cold process. Coconut, olive, canola, and castor oils are combined with a lye water solution. The resulting batter is then colored, fragranced, and poured into a wooden mold with a silicone liner. The loaf goes through a process called saponification overnight meaning that the lye and oils have become hard soap. There is no lye remaining once this process is finished. After I pull them out of the mold, I cut them and let them cure for six weeks. Since this soap does not contain any synthetic detergents, it will not strip the skin of its natural oils while still cleansing. The castor oil is used to create a nice lather.
Soap Ingredients: Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Canola Oil, Castor Oil, Sodium Lactate, Fragrance Oil, Mica for color, Kaolin Clay
Notes: The recipe I use creates a very luscious but soft bar of soap. The bars may have been damaged during the packing and shipping process. Any dents are purely cosmetic and will not change the performance of the bar.
If any irritation occurs, please discontinue use immediately.
