My submission for the March Soap Challenge Club! This is an Encanto inspired soap, specifically to scene in the river with the yellow butterflies. The theme was Soap Dough, which I used to make the butterflies and the flowers on top.
Scent: This smells just like Fruity Pebbles or Fruit Loops. You have to smell it for yourself!
Details: My soaps are handmade using a method called cold process. Coconut, olive, and castor oils are combined with a lye water solution. The resulting batter is then colored, fragranced, and poured into a wooden mold with a silicone liner. The loaf goes through a process called saponification overnight meaning that the lye and oils have become hard soap. There is no lye remaining once this process is finished. After I pull them out of the mold, I cut them. Since this soap does not contain any synthetic detergents, it will not strip the skin of its natural oils while still cleansing. The castor oil is used to create a nice lather.
Soap Ingredients: Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Canola Oil, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Sodium Lactate, Shea Butter, Fragrance Oil, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Cornstarch
Notes: The white on top is called soda ash. It is harmless and will wash off with water.
